Thomas Tarchine
My name is Thomas Tarchine and I am happy to be teaching Spanish at Marlboro High School! My passion for language and culture stems from my background growing up in a community with residents from all over Latin America. During college, I studied aborad in Seville, Spain as well as in Mexico City, Mexico. Afterwards, I taught English to working professionals in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I hope to foster a communicative classroom in which student interests and curiosity drive instruction and activities. Students will be encouraged to explore cultural products, practices, and perspectives by comparing them with their home culture.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at thomas.tarchine@marlboroschools.org.
