    June 2020

    Dear Families,

We hope this message finds you and yours happy and healthy. As soon as one school year ends, we almost immediately begin planning for September.  This year, the start of a new school year may look different than ever before.  No matter when and how we return to learning, please know that the Fourth Grade Team is so looking forward to starting this journey with you.  We will navigate through all the challenges and changes, together.  In order to be successful, we ask that your child stays actively learning this summer; read each day, practice basic math skills, and explore outside while questioning the wonders that you encounter.

We have included two separate supply lists, for the possible scenarios that could play out in September.  Please have these supplies ready for the first day of school.  We ask that you stick to the list, as best as possible, to eliminate an excess of unnecessary materials.  Thank you in advance and have a restful summer.

*IMPORTANT: This supply list has been created as of June 16, 2020 to cover both in-school and virtual learning, as we do not know what the next school year will bring. We would like our students to be prepared for both learning scenarios. Students should have supplies at home to work with in the event that we will need to engage in virtual learning.
